Wefa One History
A journey, a dream, a vision: The story of Wefa One
Hi everyone! For those who don’t know me yet, my name is Ahmad, and I am the CEO of Wefa One. My story is one of a dream come true, fraught with obstacles that shaped me and led me to where I am today.
I was born in Saudi Arabia, but I grew up in Guinea, in the heart of vibrant cities like Coléah, Matoto, Kindia, and Mamou. I was fortunate to attend schools that shaped my life, including Yamassafou Bah School in Coléah and GER School in Kindia. These years laid the foundations for who I am today.
Like many others, I’ve always dreamed of setting foot in the United States. I’ve made that dream come true. However, the reality has sometimes been harsh. I’ve experienced the frustration of losing jobs where I’d imagined I’d make a career, an experience that was a real shock. I’ve also learned valuable lessons about friendship and relationships: the lack of communication, listening, and patience between people has shown me an unexpected side of those around us.
I know I’m not the only one who’s experienced these challenges. That’s why I felt a calling, an obligation to act. I made a bold decision: to create my own brand. But mind you, not just any brand. It’s a brand I’ve had the honor of building with the tireless hard work and unwavering determination of my team. Together, we’ve created something with global reach, and for me, “global” is synonymous with Guinea, because that’s where it all began, that’s where my roots are anchored.
Wefa One is much more than a brand; it is the result of my journey, my learnings, and above all, the passion and hard work of a united team to build something great, which represents my origins and extends beyond borders.
